Yesstories is a collection of quotes from band members, including from lengthy new interviews conducted by the author. These are organised by topic, mainly going through each album and song by the band. The result is surprisingly gripping and a fascinating insight into the band. Morse has not shied away from more contentious issues like over who really wrote what. The band members are very lucid—unless that's just good editing!—and succintly summarise many an argument that has dominated alt.music.yes for weeks.

For committed Yes historians, this is an invaluable (and well notated) collation of primary source material. What we need next is a more interpretative history, one that attempts to resolve conflicting reports and contextualise the band's history.
